So here I am yet again with another brand new blog. I think by now people must be getting tired of me half finishing one blog and then starting a new one.
I see blogging as an experiment, trying to find the ideal theme that I feel happy with. Now that I feel that my old self is starting the emerge again hence the title of the blog. I chose many cool domain names for this blog, but there were others quicker off the mark than me, so I finally settled with http://thenewjourney.wordpress.com
I’m now going to make a promise to everyone that may happen to read this blog, I am going to update this blog everyday. It will give you a little insight to what I do each day. It may seem a little boring at first as I re-discover myself.
I’m not going to give you a blow by blow account of what I do. As many people have said many potential employers actually read through people’s blogs before employing anyone, not that I buy into it or anything, but in my current situation it is better to be safe than sorry.
When I mention my social interactions with people, I will not mention them by name in here, unless they want me to. The last thing I want to do with this blog is burn bridges or embarrass the hell out of everyone that I meet.
If I have had a bad experience with a company however I will be mentioning them by name, but not individuals involved, it is not their fault that their company may offer a poor service, I will blame the training that they have been given.
Will I ever reveal my name in here? I may do someday. In fact it may already be in my profile.
A note to potential employers who may end up reading this blog. Do not judge me solely by my writings within, sometimes I may exaggerate to prove a point. I may have a slight bias in my opinions one way or another. This is no way reflects on my ability to do an outstanding job. My personal life and business life are two seperate identities. The two will occasionally crossover in a social gathering like an office christmas party.
I will not embarrass your company by falling over drunk or even getting drunk, or photocopying my backside. I will not approach you for a pay rise, there are more opportune moments to do so.
I’ll also let you into a little secret, I know that bosses never let their hair down completely at the Christmas Party, so you will never see me doing any of the things I have mentioned above. Unless I really want a P45 waiting for me the next working day.
So there you go the reasons behind the new blog and what you can expect in the future.
